Any shadowing problems with the lighting so far on such a deep tank?

Thanks ! Shadowing has been terrible ..... I had to switch to wide angle lenses on the radion and add two t5 . The vertical space gives it awesome depth , but Makes maintenance a nightmare nxt time I won't get a 30 inch deep tank .

Thanks ! If that battery backup up would have been inside the cabinet it would have smoked everything . It discharged ALOT of acid and was smoking , I have no idea what happened ....Ecotech stated it was the first time they had heard of such a thing...

It was produced sept 2012 . I purchased it March of 2013, I don't think I hooked it up till later that year .

You can try contacting battery manufacturer. It's supposed to be a sealed lead acid battery, maybe they will replace it since it failed.

I will give it a shot . It would be nice if they would be able to work with me .

I just swapped my battery on mine because it was dead. New battery cost me 50$, the swap is super easy. The battery itself is fairly cheap so hopefully manufacturer will replace it for you. Beautiful tank btw.

Thats cool ! The acid ate the connectors on the housing..... It probably won't be that hard to replace the connectors . Thanks for the props on my tank !

Its been a four year journey that is coming to an end , have to tear it down.... I have learned what to do right and definitely what not to do . I have gotten immeasurable joy from watching my tank grow over time , education is paramount there is no silver bullet except maybe chemi-clean hahahhaha.

My next tank I will go slow , instead of frags I would like to grow specimens maybe a ulns with zeo or a 100 gallon Refugium .
