75g SPS build.

Yeah Im going with an external pump, it's going to be a tight fit but it'll fit. There will be a set of baffles before the return hole. The skimmer will also be a recirculating skimmer so water level won't be affect anyways. And not using any teeth on the overflow, just going to run a piece of like eggcrate to prevent fish/snails from getting in.

Very nice.... BTW- good move on the lights, IMHO.

Please, no hating, the two part marine epoxy that'll cure and make it a solid piece is still curing so we had to add extra rocks underneath the structure on the left. Once it's all dried and cured it won't have the piece in the middle. But here is pretty much what the aquascape is going to look like. I wanted to go pretty minimalistic for the aquascaping.

Thoughts.

This structure turned out really nice imo.

And obviously it looks weird now with rubberbands all over the place.

Thanks . So 7 individual pieces, some marine grade 2 part epoxy, some rubber bands and a little bit of a wait and we have this. Pretty stoked with the way this came out. The 2 main structures will be for SPS and then then smaller individual rock will be for either zoas or rics. Rock is currently curing in some very well established SW while I get the rest of the tank ready to go.

Thanks everyone. Got done making the template for drilling the tank. Now I just need to actually do it, not gonna lie. I'm pretty nervous about this but I'm sure it'll be fine. Here is the overflow box with the template, just to give you and idea how it's going to look.

Thanks. Tank is hopefully getting drill this weekend. I also picked up a new sump. It's definitely smaller but that opens up a lot of space underneath that I can use for my external pump, ato resovoir and other things.

Then this happened...I need to add a union right after the pump outlet incase I need to remove the pump.

Did a soft mockup of the return. Also picked up a wp-25, will probably run this alongside a wp-40.

Also need to add the true union ball valve somewhere on the vertical pipe.

And the more exciting news, tank finally got drilled. It was definitely much easier than I originally thought it would be. Have some cleaning to do.

Got the return plumbing done, I just need to glue it and secure it to the stand. Pretty happy with the way it came out.
Left to right, emergency drain, full siphon, secondary drail.

Secondary drain, full siphon and all the way on the other side is the emergency.

Yeah the pipes are slanted. Had to do it this way because of the sump position but I don't think it will affect it at all.

Soon. Silicone cured enough to the point where I could turn the tank back on the bottom. I must say it came out very well. Overflow box is perfectly level too. Need to head to Lowes and get the rest of the plumbing for the return then I'll be water testing everything.
