Ditto on the dominoI would get rid of the domino sooner rather than later. I love certain damsels, but that group gets big and mean.

I do have an orchid dottyback I could substitute for the domino. For now I can keep the damsel in the nano tank with the clowns.Ditto on the domino

in my limited experience the only dotty back that I. have enjoyed, (a CB Splendid) was added late in a tank where he was the subordinate in sizeI do have an orchid dottyback I could substitute for the domino. For now I can keep the damsel in the nano tank with the clowns.
We’re they just too aggressive? This is the first dottyback I’ve owned and Has been very peaceful and kept to itself so far.in my limited experience the only dotty back that I. have enjoyed, (a CB Splendid) was added late in a tank where he was the subordinate in size
Have re-homed 2 other AH Dotties

Well hope it works out for the best for you. My filtration is more robust then yours and with a similar size tank, 9 fish maxes it out but hopefully you will have success with your tank plans this time. I went through a brook massacre early on so know your pain and frustration.Yes I currently am in a fallow period due to an ich/velvet outbreak. Will be out of it the beginning of March. Hence the restocking list. I currently have most of the fish in QT accept for a couple I’m questioning. But yes I am aware it’s a bit overstocked but I’ve maxed out my filtration so I believe it will Handel the extra bio load, I’ve got an Eshopps Adv 200 sump with a fuge and Eshopps x120 skimmer, I have to really try to keep nitrates and phosphates above 0 in this tank. (That’s before the fallow period) I had around the same number of fish before the outbreak all around the same size accept for the mandarins. As for the tang I did have a blue eyed kole tang however that was the tang that nuked my system with velvet. ( I have since learned the importance of proper QT…) the powder blue tank I got for a great deal and it’s been eating pellets and nori like crazy, super healthy fish.. but I am aware putting him in a 75G will soon become an issue but within a year I will be upgrading to a larger tank and in the meantime being in the 75 DT will be much better than the small QT he is currently in.
Sorry to hear about that! Must have been rough.. but thank you if I run into any issues I have backup plans to rehome any aggressors or if my filtration gets overwhelmed.Well hope it works out for the best for you.
