Morning pics, and I’m still dealing with some kinda algae.

Beautiful tank that I want to replicate but want to ask you of having a open tank of this area 48” x 24” would not be a problem with humidity due to evaporation? I am planning setting up on my living room but little afraid of evaporation so was thinking on maybe buying to 24” x 24” pieces of glass and place in some plastic clips . What do you think?

I would not cover it, it would take away from the rimless look. I have recently upgraded to a 120g with the same dimensions and have no problem with evaporation or humidity. I’d guess a gallon a day of evaporation?
