861 TDS from the Tap... any ideas?

Ok so I have everything hooked up from my recent purchases:

Here is a rundown of what has happened since finding out about how bad my water is:

I added an Aquatec 8800 pump that is boosting the pressure to 82psi turned small the way down. It’s got the pressure switch on the line going to the holding tank, as well. I still can’t get better than 34 TDS from the meters. I think the 20-ish TDS was an anomaly this last weekend.

When I run both membranes, it settles down to 36 TDS. More on this in a bit. I’m getting a 95.5% -ish rejection rate. Not great - but functional.

I’ve also added a three stage DI (anion/cation/mixed)
I am inputting 36 TDS water and seeing ZERO TDS after the anion stage. ...interesting. So - I guess that’s better than having to replace mixed beads that are only getting half used.

Does anyone have thoughts on what I could do to improve water that is clean after just anion beads?

Also - I plan on switching out the BRS DOW Filmtec membranes with Spectrapure ultra high rejection membranes. So - I figured what the heck and just hooked up the dual membranes again. It’s only costing me 2 tds to do so and is reducing the amount of rejected water until I swap the membrane for something else. I had a spare tds probe so I hooked it up to the waste water - I got 1380-ish tds on the rejected water... hahaha

Anyone have any thoughts on how I can better prep this water for RO?
PS - I have not yet had this water professionally tested. I am working on finding time to get to someone who can.

Whoops! Swap everything i just said cation/anion. I am getting zero tds after first di stage.

Ugh... now I’m really showing my noobishness....

I just realized that I have no way of knowing yet which resin chamber is doing all the work. The TDS meter is showing pre dual canister and post dual canister, then output... I don’t know what I was thinking... I wasn’t thinking ... when I said it was the first canister doing all the work. I guess time will tell which I’m exhausting faster.

Question still stands... any more ideas on how to improve the clarity of water heading into DI stage? I guess I’m just going to spend a boatload on resin/get comfortable with recharging it regularly.
