Mostly what? LPS and softies? or LPS and SPS? LPS and softies like 30-35 times turn over. SPS likes 40-60 times turn over. Fish only you can have as little as 5-10 times turn over. Now I'm talking in tank not in sump. So if you wanted say 40 times turn over flow for SPS corals and your return pump was already pumping say 600GPH back into your tank, then you would want to make difference with power heads that pumped a total 3000 GPH to achieve your 3600 GPH flow.

It is going to house the stuff from the 75 for now. Still planning the big one, going to go 8' now im thinking.lol. Process has stopped for right now. HAd to wait on bulkhead and have my daughter this weekend. Will start back up tonight or tomorrow. Hoping to be wet in next day or so. Just like plumbing and scape, going to build part of it with new rock and use all the rock from 75 to fill in and put rest in the sump.

FWIW, I have that exact 90g tank and I'm using (3) Koralia 1500's plus a split return off my Mag Drive 9.5. At this point, they are all on 24/7, but as soon as I get another PC4 for my RKL, I'm going to put them in wavemaker mode to get some variance in flow patterns. With that much flow, I had to look long and hard to find any places to put my softies where their skin didn't get blown off.
