Thanks guys. I am getting some weird algae growth on glass. Small pad attached to glass and grows long like hair algae. Will try to get a pic of it. It kinda fans out on the end.

From what I hear heaters and acrylic are a fire hazard. I know my lfs doesn't put any heaters in anything acrylic. I put mine in my overflow. Nice tank by the way.

What he said.lol. It is full of rock right now too. Still slowly removing it. It will eventually either be in overflow or sump.

I have my heater in the overflow and it works just fine. Plus it keeps some clutter out of the sump.

I don't keep much of anything in my sump, just my heater, skimmer and, return pump.
