I have lots of sps lps and sofites in my tank. My par was about the same as it was with the ecotechs. However both currrnt and fluval focus more on pur than par. This is a good reason why you may have the dino problems. I would turn down the reds and greens if you have not already. If you search for my posts you will see pics of my tank. Looks very nice. I will say this, I plan on having my tank be SPS dominated. I am also using this tank as a learning tank obviously. I know I will make mistakes but will eventually find what works and how it works. I've done enough research to know that people have had fantastic success in every aspect of reefing with many different means. I am glad you are having success with Current, however I don't see me ever using them on my tank. I have had current and fluval on my freshwater tanks and i very much dislike their display and the settings they have. The amount of people having success with the ecotech on full SPS reefs is what drove me their way in the first place. I would do it again given the chance.

I will certainly turn down the reds and greens to see if that helps with the dinos, like i said I am open to suggestions. I just want them gone, blowing them off of everything every day is getting quite old.

Some Great news, This is day two, Dino free. tank looks clear, no more nasty brown boogers anywhere, few white wispy laying around but man its looking great see for yourself.

The birdsnest took the most of the brunt of the dinos, couldn't keep them clean of them no mater what I did so some of it started to die, but most of the acros are happy and growing which is fantastic. everything else looks great now too. I really hope to see continued improvement over the next few weeks and Ill be sure to keep you all posted.

the uv sterilizer is the nail in the coffin, that thing worked wonders Its a coralife 6x couldn't be happier its hard plumbed into my return through one of my manifolds.

Day three Dino free, I feel like this UV took care of it, its been awhile since I've seen the tank this clean. Moving on to bigger and better things, going to focus on coral health and growth now completely. Picks of the Apex control mounting cabinet will be coming soon, I got a teaser pic over the weekend!

A few more pieces of equipment set up to the apex last night, should be completed by this weekend I am incredibly stoked to have this kind of automation and piece of mind going forward.
