Alright a little business but don't stop the shenanigans. The new gif is much better than the fish btw

Day 11 here, clown in QT is more active today! I'm pulling for him. 50% WC w/copper for the QT. White spots to me look more like fading/lesions than external parasites. Mucus toward the head has cleared since earlier and eyes were cloudy yesterday, but not today, with more energy. Not eating however. A lot coincides with Brooklynella also, from my research. But I can't be positive so I haven't raided a morgue yet.

Wrasse and YWG (and pistol shrimp) still show no signs of distress and are eating and active in the DT.

Man that sucks. I’m sorry you’re going through all of this. Especially when it’s not clear what the problem is. Us Alaskans have a hard enough time with everything else’s as it is.

So I take it your going management route rather than eradication due to your not going fallow in the DT.
Eradication is a lot and no guarantee so I don’t blame you.

Still kind of figuring the plan out, initially with how things were heading it looked like the tank was going to fallow itself in the matter of a few days, and copper wasn't looking like a miracle cure due to "late stages", there has been a little bit of deer-in-headlights..

With the wrasse and YWG (and pistol shrimp) still showing NO signs in the DT, I could pull them into a ~2 month holding tank but I need to obtain and setup something bigger than 10g.. And it will require dismantling everything in the DT, pulling all rock etc to fetch the remaining fish..

It would be easier with a firm diagnosis, so far the pros like it as a form of ich but also shows many of (but not all) brook symptoms, etc. I guess I should just assume in one of those areas which both require fallow to eliminate. My brain keeps wondering if it was some other type of strange bacterial infection, but without examining under a microscope we are guessing. But does not look like velvet, flukes or uronema etc.

Yep, seen most commonly in clowns but it is certainly not restricted to them from my understanding. Snippet from thesprucepets.com:

"Along with clownfish, additional species like angelfish, tangs or surgeonfish, wrasses, jawfishes, seahorses, and many others can host Brooklynella parasites."

For my fish I can only note that some symptoms aligned with Brook, and some with Ich as well.

The 2 in QT did not make it through yesterday unfortunately, QT tank is shut down currently. I was able to verify the copper level (finally got my checker) was at 1.85 ppm, based on my research the target is 1.5-2 ppm, but I'm not sure what Jay and team think there as I have seen others around the web that like a little higher.

DT will get a 10g (~25%) WC today, and so far the remaining wrasse and YWG show no issues..

In lighter news, got our 35 gal RO holding tank set up and this is way better than making RO into buckets individually
