These Rhodactis are so sensitive

Water change and glass scraping this week threw one straight into an hourglass shape and split commenced. First time I've seen a split start like that and so fast.. We'll see how goes..

Shrooms love this tank at least. Florida Ricordea seen with a surprise red legged baby hermit.

How many times a day did you feed the Mel? I really want one but don't want to feed it multiple times a day.
Mine has 2 auto feeders, each feeds twice daily so 4 times total. 2 flake, 2 pellet, and then when I toss in some Nori sheets or frozen or freeze dried.

So I should feed it more than once a day? Also what auto feeder do you have, i was considering getting one for vacation.

I have the cheapo Amazon feeders. Are you feeding flake or pellets?

@danieyella got a nice one off Amazon that was priced pretty well recently.

I currently only feed frozen, but I can do either flake pellet or both.

I have been running an Avast Marine Plank auto feeder ~3 times/day with their reef jerky, I sprinkle in small amounts of flakes occssionally and some frozen mysis in the evenings. I try to do a little, more often, rather than a lot, less often..

The Plank Feeder is a nice little unit, but spendy. Requires external timer control, I use a Kasa smart plug. I do have to clean it regularly in the DT as it can get clogged with algae fairly easily, would love to have a sump the throw it in the return chamber..

Auto feeders & auto top offs are my favorite things.. ;)
