Disclaimer: These mounts are preset for RED SEA Reefer systems.

I did not know this when I bought them, but I made them work with my tank until I recently completely my DIY canopy. No need for them anymore.

I am pretty sure these would work with any tank that the mounting pieces fit to... But do some research for your individual tank to be sure they would work first... I don't want drama post-sale.

The universal HMS mounts retail for 75 a piece. These are a step up from them as they mount from the side with a custom piece rather than over the top of the fan making for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Not sure... but all it takes it 2 small (like 1/4") holes to use the mount...

How did you get these to clip on to a regular tank? What hardware did you buy? I have 3 of them and was going to junk them because I can’t get them on my new non Red Sea tank
