About to throw a light out the window Im so irritated

So I have one red sea light that ALWAYS losses connection. Not sure whats going on. I mess with the cords and re plug in and the power box light is blue. Not a bulb because the reefbeat app shows it as down when it does this. Been beating my head against a wall looking on google for answers and cant find any. Anyone have a suggestion? Replace the cord? Is it the light itself? My fish dont like the dark side of the tank understandably and its driving me nuts!!!

I have the same problem with my Radions (always one light). How close is your WiFi router?

Firmware was the culprit for my AI primes one time. Another time, it was the fan that was causing overheating and the light would just go out.

Trying to think of any other ways you'd lose connection except for a wifi/BT issue depending on the connection.

So I read through the form, tried a trouble shooting from the handbook and I cant get the light to even factory re set. I contacted red sea just now but nothing Ive tried is working, cant even find it when I go to re connect it after deleting it from the app!

I have a few RedSea products (ReefDose 4, ReefWave 45 x 3) and have had connectivity issues with all of them except one. I love the products, but they can be a hassle to configure initially. I used another phone as a hotspot for one ReefWave and the ReefDose in order to connect and get the schedule configured. It was not my router or network as RedSea Support continued to suggest. Once the ReefWave controller was replaced it worked fine. Then I had an issue with the ReefDose which required replacement...what do you know, it connected flawlessly. Hit and miss with their controllers, but I do like the products.

Me too and yeah they are, not a good look for them, especially with the bazillion seam breaks in their tanks

Wifi is great... when it works. Which almost never does. Wifi is such a pain point for me when choosing equipment. I wish more equipment wouldn't force you to control their devices via an app and just have the app be an extension of control.

They should just use bluetooth. I don't need to control my lights during my vacation. I usually just tinker while I am sitting beside the tank.

Not defending redsea but I think almost all name brand gear for this hobby is over priced. $820 for a power head

There should be a WiFi broadcast button on the ReefLED similar to the ReefWave, ReefMat, etc. - no? On my Red Sea devices I hold that down for about 5 seconds (after removing from ReefBeat) at which point I can re-add the device again.

Consider:
Kessil A360
noopsyche K7 Pro
Orphek OR3 light bars
Ai Hydra 26 or 32's

I have 1 Ai hydra 26 , 4 Nero 5s, 3 radion xr15, 3 MP40s and 2 mp10s and Mobius still sucks
Fortunately mine are old enough I'm not forced to use the P O S app

EDIT : I forgot to add that all devices are mobius compatible or mobius ready except the hydra I'm not sure about.
I edited the original post. I had stated Ai prime and it's a hydra 26.
