I feed my acan garden Reef Gumbo and some mysis and think it helps them develop color and grow quicker. And, just remember, that whatever plug they are on/rock they are near will tend to shape their growth. I generally place mine on a flat rock so they spread out more.

I like the dome shape so I usually put them on a disk in the sand and they mound up.

I will defitnley get the some rubble to grow onto once they have settled. Mysis is a good shout as i have some in the freezer!

So the last 2 days my acan have been sulking again any ideas?

Those look ok, mine go thru phases throughout the day. IMO, I would let them settle and relax. Stop messing with them and see what they do. As long as they don't have too much flow where it is tearing the polyps, I'd leave them be. LPS takes a little while to adjust and fully inflate sometimes.
