Hello R2R,

In an effort, in a professional-mannered way, to "call out" what we see as being pretty silly being sold for high dollar, I bring to you this tribute. PLEASE NOTE - This thread is not a "name & shame" thread and its purpose is to just show people that these prices are fairly silly. Yes, some will say "well if you like if for that price - let the consumer buy it". BUT if you are new to this hobby, buying this common frag for top dollar will not only make them hate this hobby, but will also lose their wallet in the process.

SO PLEASE REMEMBER - No Naming "X" vendor.

I bring you this for $200. I seriously have a nice size of this one in my tank and see them all the time at my LFS for $40 bucks.

Another note for this thread - If the results show this coral is rare and suitably priced, I guess that is good marketing for the said item.

That's one crazy acan for sure. Some others can get that price per eye also. I'm actually surprised they aren't in that bandwagon and trying to get $500 for it. Is it worth $200 to me? No, your $40 would be about right for me to purchase it. I may be willing to give more than $40, maybe twice that. But $200 could buy a whole lot of good looking frags.

200 seems high to me but if some one has the scratch and this is there thing go for it . Me I wait till someone else gets it then when it grows out pester them till I get it lol

I have to say some of these people are out of hand. Trying to make all the money back they spent on the colony off their first frag. I highly doubt they even spent $200 on the whole colony. Problem is some people will pay those crazy prices.
