If it's not bleach white, it has life in it.

Or the coralline completely covers it. I have a tendency to leave a skeleton in until it’s completely purple and NO sign of life. As a bonus an Acan or Favia skeleton makes a handy spot to glue another frag

API reef kit. Phosphate 0. Nitrate now 0, calcium 380. Mag idk don’t have a test. Salinity 1.023. Temp 78
I would raise phosphate up to about 0.03-0.05, nitrates up to 5.00 and salinity to 1.024-1.026. That's where I keep my tank at and my acans are always wide open and constantly growing. Feed your tank phytoplankton and amino such as "fuel" and they will come back. I would also invest in a better test kit to get better readings. I had the same tests and went around in circles chasing numbers.

I feed mine. Started to lose them, started actively feeding them, and now they look great and are starting to multiply. But I'll admit, it didn't happen overnight, probably over the course of 6 months to a year before I really noticed they were shrinking and a few died off, tank parameters were fine so decided to try and feed. That was the ticket.

How are they looking? Were you able to pinpoint the issue and/or get the shrimp out?
