could definitely be the culprit. You would be able to see that after lights out as well. I would say take a peek about 3 hours after lights out (if possible) and you would likely see the culprit.

ok..im filming on a tripod while im on here to see if its any of the fish..not likely but the goby does like those acros....

is their any way to stop it?

in my videos im uploading when i leave the room the goby jumps right on this acro

If he's munching on the acro itself, it's time to find him a new home. Hope that's not the case though. Gobies can be really difficult to catch.

Those gobies are known to eat SPS polyps and its one of there food in the wild. I dont think he is causing that damge tho. Looks like it got stung or sumthing touch the tips. I have a couple that if I rub with my arm when Im doing something in the tank look the same way a few hrs later but are fine the next day

EASY TO CATCH with a 1" hose, suck him out if it is him. way back in the day i had one and he striped my milli's clean of their polyps

after a closer look id say something hit it like a scraper or hand. if the favia below did send up sweepers it would have more likely burned the base and not the tips

that might be it...but i never hit it? unless the goby perching on it all the time damages it?

a little goby could not do that. some blennies eat the tissue right off, but i doubt you would put one of those in your tank. make a short list of your fish in the tank and ill try to tell you which one may have been curious and took a bite

Naso brevirostris Tang

Grade B Picasso Clown

Yellow Coris Wrasse

Green Clown Goby

black molly (still alive from cycling)

i would guess that to but he never even swims beside the acro...

yea i know lol,

im thinking about fragging 1 branch and seeing if it just like to pick at this acro or is the acro dieing....good decision? or not?

id wait a few days first. see if it heals up. i hit my stag all the time and it always heals right up
