Acro power and reef roids question

I think that folks on both sides of the fence would agree that there is no NEED, but also that it will not hurt anything.

The true test if if the color/growth disappears after discontinued use - there are no cases of this that I can remember, but I am sure that I missed some. I do think that it is reasonable that people see some benefit from when they start, but the start time is often coupled with a renewed interest in the hobby, or some other changes... and it is that overall renewed interest or something else that made the difference. It also could be that a tank just got more mature. The ultimate example of this is Iodine dosing to bring out red color - tons of people claimed that it made all the difference in the world, but when they quit, nothing changed.

I have never seen any positive response from using reef roids on any coral other than my acans; they love the stuff and it makes them grow fast. My SPS seem to close up and look actually worse for a few days after using it.

My aiptasia enjoys a feeding of reef roids.:)
Sps do have a feeding response from roids but I never seen any immediate reaction from feeding the acro power.
I did believe acro power colored up my sps before but now I'm in the unsure camp.
