How long have you had the frag? (looks fresh based on plug)
What par is it under?
How old is the tank?
How much flow is there?
Any swings in params?
How did you acclimate it to the current light?

General guidance:

New frag (<1 week old) -> STN/RTN
New tank (<1 yr) -> STN
Par > 350? -> bleaching
Par < 150? -> STN/RTN
Param swing? -> STN/RTN
Swing examples-
Alk moving > 0.5 dKh in a day in either direction
PO4 moving > 0.20 in a week
NO3 moving > 10 ppm in a day
Sg moving > 4ppt in a day

Old frag (>3 weeks) & Established tank (2+ yrs) & 200-300 Par -> growth

Ok, it's likely STN or Alk related - what was the Alk the frag came from and how often do you check Alk?
1 year is likely not old enough for Acro's although some people are able to, it's hit or miss. How long has it been since you've gotten through all of the uglies / algae blooms? No3 seems high and not balanced with Po4 which indicates the the tank isn't mature enough. If the frag came from a tank with 5ppm no3 and went to yours with 30ish, that's a large change. Par being at 170 is ok, but kind of low. Going from high par to low (yours) would be ok and best practice. The only thing you can do at this point is wait and see what happens - if it's STN its still saveable IF you have a mature tank to put it in. If not, well, good luck.

Alk of the old tank was 8.3 like mine .. i check the alkalinity almost every other day cause i dose it manually...

The ugly phase done around 9-10 months ago

But the no3 in the old tank was under 5ppm ...

I can take the par to something like 250 ...
And i can wait and see what it is and i will let you know ....

But if its STN , what can i do please ?? And thank you alot for your help

New growth is white on the tips. Congrats your coral is growing. The green slimer is my all time favorite coral.

I find it beneficial to check alk more often, alkatronic helps w that.

While the no3 is a bit different, I don't feel like that would cause necrosis.

I would hold off on changing par. Patience is key.

Nothing you can do other than make sure things are stable, and that you're not shocking it with a ton of light (which you aren't).

Continue to monitor at this point. What might help is seeing a similar Pic of when it was brand new in the tank. If those white areas are newly formed, then that's likely growth. But that's a lot of white for only 2 weeks.

Thank you sir ...

I will keep my eye on it , and say if theres any change in the few days coming , and in the same time will try to keep my parameters more stable and slowly decrease my nitrate level ... And i will keep you updated about it .... Thanks alot for your help

I'm not trying to be discouraging but the white tips have me concerned the more I thought about it.

Has the white increased since your last picture? Maybe take another?

Actually you helped alot with those information i am new with acropora so this is no discouraging from you ... Its a good way to learn and improve my skills to keep that beautiful type of corals

I took another picture , after 24 hours and theres no difference .... The acro looks happy and the polyps extending ... No change on the color too ...

Sorry for the blues, I have to make some cuts today and don't want to set my head on fire. Here's a couple from my system, notice what they all have in common. Sleep well my friend as your stag is just fine. You'll probably notice the new flesh the day before it starts to shoot again.

Hi @Biff0rs this is a new picture from today ... I think its a bleaching issue

So maybe this is happening cause of the level of No3 on my tank ....

I have full sps tank runs 15-25 nitrate however phosphate is higher at 0.15. My sps are very happy there. It kinda looks like new growth hard to tell via pic. My slimmer has growth tips very similar. This is a voo doo magic but ya can see the tips that’s new growth.

If my acros have white tips I just carry on. If they are dark tips I start to get nervous like a school girl the night of her prom.

To give the helper credit - I went out of country for 30 days. Luck would have it my AWC system crapped out on day 2 in my smaller system, but was indicating it was working. NO3 SKY ROCKETED from 15 to 50. about 10% of the acros couldn't handle that swing and were partially covered in coralline when I got home. Some of my Montis were pure white. Several VERY large water changes and things have settled down. Swings are bad, very bad for Acros.
