Hey guys I thought I would start a showoff thread for Acropora Spathulata as you don't see much of it posted around.

I have a nice colony of it growing and keen to see what other people have. I will start it off with mine below.

What's this coral called?

It's in the top left. It Used to be an excellent multi color but went green on me when I had a nutrient issue. Now that's solved its gaining color.

That picture is a couple weeks old. It's starting to have a little pink peek through. I'll try and capture that tomorrow with a picture.

Hopefully the pink continues to come back as it will be a nice piece when it does

I understand these to be some of the most difficult to keep acros in the hobby. What’s everyone’s trick for long term success?
I keep hearing "pristine water" "extremely clean tanks"
I just added this colony over the weekend, ill check back every so often with updates on it and see how it goes
currently my tank info is: p04=.02-.03, N03= undetectable, ALK=8.9 - 9.1, CAL=423-430, MAG 1400

Absolute stability. They can start to RTN or STN when lots of other SPS are fine with some swings. If you see a tank with a huge colony of Spath, then you know that they did not hardly have any parameter swings for years and years. I also find that they need more light than most other acros - high intensity and wide spectrum.
