When I purchased I was told this was an Acropora, I'm not sure and I've had for about 3 months and doesn't look the way it did. It's browning, I tried to clean off when I cleaned the tank but is also dull in color. Can anyone tell me what it is and what I can do for it?

For some reason I think the skeleton looks like that of an alvepora.
did it have flower like polyps when it was good?

how old is the tank? Those rocks look pretty bare, the tank might not be ready to support them yet,
params?

Its about 7 months old but I just added those 2 to the tank when I did the water change about 3 days ago.

Okay, you need to post up info on tank. Size, age, light, any water test you have done, ect.
32 gal water change done 3 days ago. Tank has been up for 7 almost 8 months.
Salt 1.026
PH 7.8 (it's low)
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 5 ppm
Calcium 340 (also low)
Alk 10.5
Mag 1260
Phosphate 0

I'm dosing eight.four buffer and Bright well A and B but still low.

Any thoughts on the coral?

mag is low
calc is low ( you know that)
you also should not have 0 phosphates get them up to .03-.1

Don't dose eight four (buffers are just alk supplements under a different name). Just use the alk and calcium products accordingly. Also, what test kits are you using.

raise that phosphate for sure ... Unless you want to have some other fun with dino.... Do you add any supplements to your tank
Any suggestion of what to use to raise phosphate? I'm using Bright well code A and B for calcium and the eight.four to raise PH.
