I do not think your running anything to get rid of it correct no GFO no NOPOx etc?

for me all i did when i was getting low was stop GFO and Feed more. Nori has a lot of phosphate in it. Formula 2 is also packed with phosphate. Your fish and corals will love you!

Drive out Co2.

High PH alkalinity supplements, CO2 scrubber, running an airline to your skimmer from outside, point your powerheads toward the surface.

Many ways to raise PH without using chemicals.

FWIW...

7.8 is an absolutely acceptable PH for a marine aquarium in a closed up house.

That sounds great thank you!

My PH ranges from 8.1 to 7.9 it drops a little at night when the lights shut off until my sump lights turn on.. I had to reduce the amount of time i run my sump lights as my cheato and sea lettuce are doing work removing the pho and no and do not want to bottom out ..

32 gal water change done 3 days ago. Tank has been up for 7 almost 8 months.
Salt 1.026
PH 7.8 (it's low)
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 5 ppm
Calcium 340 (also low)
Alk 10.5
Mag 1260
Phosphate 0

I'm dosing eight.four buffer and Bright well A and B but still low.

Any thoughts on the coral?

your tank is 32 gallons or you did a water change which is 32 gallons of fresh made water?

If your tank is 32 gallons how big (%) wise is the water change? Also how often do you do a water change on your tank?

If your tank is 32 gal total volume just 5 gallon per week water change should be sufficient, you don't need to dose anything if you are using good salt. Doing water changes is way better than dosing stuff just for chasing numbers.

Do you have a lot of stoney corals? (ie, wall to wall packed) if not, you don't need to dose, just keep up with the water changes.

you have been told you need to raise certain parameters. Nitrate, phosphate, calcium and magnesium. I would dose nitrate first and then do phosphate. while doing that raise magnesium up to about 1350 or higher before trying to mess with your calcium. I say that because magnesium may elevate your calcium a little bit and it's going to be hard to stabilize calcium without your magnesium being a little higher. Alk and calcium tend to swing more if your magnesium is low.
your little frag may be a goner but we can set you up for future wins. Definitely let your tank mature a little more before trying another SPS.
