ACROS EXPERTS OPINIONS?

I usually try not to touch the acros that much. The seller did touch them a little I believe. I think it is just stress and the bugs were something else. I'll sum this up as PAOS, panicked acro owner syndrome. Overwise know as a nutcase worrying about sticks!

this acronym had me laughing. I am sure everyone who has acros can feel that way. Sometimes it is so hard to just let things go when one looks bad.

I am convinced I have a real diagnosable disorder! All kidding aside, I don't get how I worry so much about a fish tank. haha

They'll be fine. It looks like an acro thats been cut and glued, AKA "fresh cut."
These may also be branches that weren't getting much light?
Too many variables to know for sure, but they'll recover.
Yes, it was a fresh cut. I watched him cut it. Hopefully it stays happy enough to recover not bleach.

Anyone want to guess what this frag is? Or at least what it is suppose to be? It was in lower light so, as always, " it needs coloring up".

Chasing that color fairy!

I think you guys nailed it!
The pod on the left looks like a sand skate (isopod). Not sure of the id on the other pod. Both are algae grazers.

the top critter in the brown cup pic. is a sand skater. I have them. don't cause any problems that I know of....

Yep, coral is just stressed. The good news is nothing is wrong! The bad news is you almost had a heart attack over nothing!

PAOS is real ! We all have it, especially when we finally bite the bullet and get that 2, 3, 4, 500 piece you always wanted !

Luckly this one was a trial for my tank. Picking up my WD, PF, OP and others next week. They have been healing for weeks now.

That's one unhappy Acro with the beginning stages of bleaching.

I would say it looks fairly good if it was shipped especially being fresh cut. What makes you say it's beginning to bleach because I wouldn't have thought that at all looking at the pic?

OP, keyhole limpets have been known to eat sps when they don't have much else to eat. I don't see any bite marks but dip in revive or melafix so you can see what's at the bottom of the dip easily. Plus those are both good aefw killers just to make sure you don't have any hiding in there.

Happy to report that the acro is doing well.

I was blasting my corals with too much light (8 bulb over a 50 cube), but now I think I found the sweetspot and things are starting to colorup!
