I seem to have a tone of slow growning frags and it's getting to me know as some of the frags I have had for over a year and still zero growth ! Tho a nice few have based out !
Iv tried everything ! What should I be doing to see the growth in my acros ??

Also I'm not sure what this dark red / brown algae stuff is ? It's horrible and again I'm battling this and have had no luck so far

Any tips and advice would be welcome

Lower the powerheads in the tank. So the flow blows right over the top of your acros, on a pulse setting.

Hi Hemmdog
I will give it a try , I do run really high flow already ! But iv always thought iv got the pumps set up wrong for sps

What’s kind of wavemakers and lights do you have? What’s your water parameters? Pics ?
My lights are rads gen 4 xr30s
Jebo wave makers x3 cheap and MAX spec gyre 230xf ,
I'm running 14k for the first 5 hours and the drop down to blues for the rest of the photo period

What flow pattern is the gyres and jebaos making? A combo of pulse and “reef crest” has been best for sps in my experience.

Try some chemi-clean. I have used in a full mixed reef tank with great results and no negative effects.

How long has the tank been set up, and how long have the frags been introduced to the system?
It's been running for a year now ! Iv only been running gfo for first time as iv always had low po4
Ok I really need to get this nailed with how to go about getting this system looking nice ,
As soon as I clean it all the brown algae smothers everything again
