I have a prepaid high $ order with them and they have not been answering the phone, email or texts since Dec 23rd does anyone know what's going on with them? I am getting a bit nervous....

After they get their money this is what happens. You'll eventually get your order but their biggest flaw is communication. Their quality is pretty good.
 
I hate HATE to say this, but they have a long history of this. Most people get their stuff in the end, but it can be months past due. It happened to me.

Did you use paypal?

Been there...I basically threaten to cancelled my whole order after lies, after lies. Thing is that i paid them all in full. Took me months to settled and finally got my tank and stand but it was a circus joke...never again. He did compensate me with a frag tank but it's the lies and false promise that I can't take...GL!
 
That was pretty much my experience. I gave him 1 week until midnight and said if he didn't have it then, I would do a charge back. You have to draw a line. I only paid for materials upfront.
 
I don't get all the shady stuff. If you can't complete an order on time, try communicating with your customer and see if there can be a compromise.
 
Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of people in the tank business that tend to do this. CAD lights was the one that I had issues with like this. They get away with the crappy customer service though because people keep buying things from them. It's so disappointing when you get a quality product, but you have to jump through hoops and threaten chargebacks just to get what you paid for.
 
Ahh this post made me start to feel super antsy! I ordered a tank from Miracles, and after I sent my half payment, I haven't heard back! Up until that point, communication was FLAWLESS.
Uhg. I really hope these companies are honest and we both get our aquariums!!

They were on vacation.
 
Idk, I had them build a sump for me about a three months ago, no issues really. Their quality is very good though. But hate to hear that some of the stuff I read about them is not just from the past but still going on. Hope they follow up with you soon.

If this were the case, they need to set up their phone with a message and set up their email system to say the same. They've used this excuse before, so they know the drill. There's no excuse for bad comminuication when you've beeen in business as long as they have and when they have history of doing the exact same thing over and over and OVER in the past.
 
I had communication yesterday and hope everything is on track now, as many have said if they could just improve their communication what a better company they would be.
