Thats to tough to answer. They are using 30 degree lenses, so the light will not be going far in any direction but down. All depends on what kind of coverage you want, and how high you mount them.

It's 12x 1 watt leds. The only reason they have any punch is the 30 degree optics. 1 watt leds are useless when it comes to anything more than softies. It's a 12 watt led bulb. Don't waste money on it. money go look at the ones I posted above or at a reef radiance par38 bulb.

I don't know his. If you want pendant style go look at the reef radiance. I just bought one for $140. Full spectrum. It's the dm-132. You would need a pair.

I believe that Skinz78 uses a unit that only utilizes 1w LEDs, might want to ask him about them.

1 watt LEDs are fine for sps but you need more than 12 unless it's a really small tank.
