I think they attach the name to make them sound more exotic = more expensive. Just like a lot of the "Aussie" corals are not really aussie. I'm not saying that corals don't come from Australia, but they are plenty of Indo corals included in the "aussie" category.
I figured the recent "japanese" zoo thing must be bs. So are they coming from a different part of Indo or what? The flaming mean greens were pretty rare before. Also, why are they called deepwater zoos? They don't look like they're from deep water. The eagle eyes look just like my eagle eyes grown under 400w mh.
DR Imports which is down this way got a bunch of the Blue Steel/African Blue zoo rocks from SDC a month ago, that's where I got mine from. So that tosses the true Blue Steel in with the Carib lookalike when stuff is coming from sellers in S FL. The Carib version doesn't have green tipped skirts and it is more grey in person than the Blue Steel zoos are.
