Any growth on the algae today?
Looks to be less, still on 2 snail shells and silicone along two areas. Was looking into blue legged hermits but it says they can kill snails for their shells. I guess I'd have to have spare shells. Also looking into an acro crab, question is will they get along? Still not sure on going the crab route.

I can say not a piece of red rooted algae left, significantly better the day after the rip clean. Completely gone, to the eye, by the second day. Snail shells are clean and they’re moving about doing their jobs. I didn’t rinse the Tonga branch or ceramic piece after applying the peroxide very liberally, just putt in back into tank. The water has been amazingly clear since then. Scrubbing with peroxide and taking a knife to the snails was one of the best out competers I did. Pondering maintenance dose of Vibrant.

i wouldnt hit it just yet through the water, to allow it all to perk back up. is that some kind of cyano or a rooted/anchored type growth?
I left the tank alone after the rip clean, amazing outcome it took it out, even the rooted stuff. Very crisp clean water. Will do this process again if needed. I’m a believer in the hands on approach to rid the invaders!
