AI Vega Settings and Intensities?

So I wanted to give an update on my Vega my tank is small and may not help many people because of the size. I think I finally have it where things are looking great and all of my corals are happy.

My tank is 9" tall the fixture is hung 24" from the bottom. I have been running the whites greens and reds and 10% and all of the blues at 60%. My zoas have never looked better color and laying flat not reaching. Anyway I hope this is of use to a few nano guys out there!

Not sure how you guys are getting by with running these lights at such low intensities. I have 2 vega colors about 6" awl on a 60 gallon cube. All blues are close to 100 percent, whites near 80, reds and greens near 50 percent. Using a par meter I'm only seeing around 350 par just under the surface and down to around 80 at the bottom.

If your corals are brown give them light.

I have a vega color and I just got a mp10 and that seems to have made a huge difference in growth and cleanliness of my tank. I have my blues only at 60 any more and stuff seems to bleach out. I have had them higher in the past and kinda restarted with moving them up recently. Still trying to figure out how to set a timer with all lights out customer service didn't seem to help what so ever.

Anyone experience better settings and better growth than from a couple of years ago?

There's a guy selling a few VEGA lights cheap in my area. Anybody still running these with success?

Looks like some good growth and colors. Are they wirelessly setup or.do you have to plug them into a computer?
Im also considering a hydra 26 HD

I recently bought an older model of the AI vega. Loving it so far but still looking for the appropriate settings. My aim is to maximize my coral growth especially my zoanthids.

My tank is a 15g column with a custom lid I made for my vega to rest on. It sits 24in off the sandbed.

I have a mix of zoanthids and euphilias as well as a kenya tree, gsp, pom xenia, and ricordia. My kenya tree is splitting like crazy and my GSP has been make steady progress up the back of the tank.

Give me some tips yall. I'd also like to grow the euphilias but I'm afraid of dosing too much because of the smaller size. (I do dose 3 drops of Kent Marine Purple Tech every water change) Also if someone can send me settings for the wireless controller, that would be great! I'm still trying to figure out how to use all of this.

Here are my settings on my Vegas.
All 3 blues: 95%
Green: 25%
Red: 15%
Whites 45%
Sunrise 10:10am
Sunset: 9:00pm
Ramp time 1:30
Favor:Blues

Have had the lights since they were released. Tank is a 120g with mixed reef (clams, lps, sps) Colors are fantastic. I believe I started my whites out at 35% originally and all the blues were around 65%-75% I gradually increased the levels 3-4% a week until this point. I have been happy with the results so I have not increased my whites any higher but may bump them up after I return to town next week. I know you have seen my tank (although not recently, but you can feel free to come over anytime Whixley. Hopefully this will help to inform some other Vega owners on what works well.
It’s been a while and If you’re still around...Do you happen to recall what height above water you had your Vegas with those settings?
