Aiptasia or ???

Found this today and didn't even know it was there. This in my internal overflow between the inlet and outlet pipes. The head is about 1 1/2" in diameter or better.

I believe it's Aiptasia but would love any opinions. I had some in the display but a couple pep. shrimp took care of it, or so I thought....

I agree, it's the largest one I have seen. Never would have even known it was there either, just happened to look inside the built in overflow and seen it.

Following along, as my son's tank has a couple of these. Started small, like normal aiptasia, but got big. Hasn't spread like crazy either. I'm still betting on aiptasia though. I'll take pics tomorrow morning.

The pipe on the left is the drain and it's 1 1/4 diameter pipe. The white center is at least the size of a quarter. From what I can see, the base looks to be about the diameter of a dime. This is the largest Aiptasia I have ever see if that is what it is

I got a better picture of this today and I am draining the tank so I need to know if I should save this or let it die???
