Algae free glass

i have went from leds, to led/t5 combo, to metal halides now, and in same order, algae on glass increased with every switch. mainly because of how t5s and metal halides has ability to spread the light on sides.

Is that flipper that good? Still using old school stick scraper and some elbow grease. But it sucks.

There are a number of brands and such, but yes. If you're still using stick scrubbers, it will be a game changer for you.

Any problems with glass scratching?
You should be mindful about an errant grain of sand getting stuck. That could cause a scratch. Otherwise, as per usual, watch the silicone.

You might give a mr clean magic eraser a try. I like mag floats but they have a love for scratching my starphire glass when i get some gravel stuck on it. The kent scraper is the only thing ill use down by the sand now.
