It looks like Cyano.
Hard to tell from the picture... cyano maybe but if it's hairy it could be gha
Better picture under white lights would be helpful.

like move with the flow of the water? yes it does thatI personally have never had any issues with reef roids causing algae outbreaks, but I have heard others having issues. If it flows then it is likely GHA, I know Reef Flux can get rid of it, but I never used it for the purpose. I used it to get rid of Bryopsis and it killed the GHA in my sump. You can start off with the Vibrant.
How much are you feeding? How often? It could be related to a high amount of nutrients in your water column.here is a few pics with the white lights on. its green and hairy, if it is green hair algae. could it be caused by reef roids. also i do have vibrant could that help remove it. also what other options do i have to get rid of it. i have a few snails. emarld and hermit crabs. it grew quite a bit over night.

Exactly, sounds like GHA. Cyano is a brownish algae that usually collects in low flow areas. It can be blown off easily with a turkey baster.like move with the flow of the water? yes it does that
i am testing my nutrients tonight when i get home. i feed reef roids once a week day before water change normally Wednesday and change thursday , frozen marine cuisine sunday and pellets daily but never more than like 5. the tank is about 4 months old. and this issue started after i started feeding. i cant really pin point which food is doing it because i started using all at the same time. How much are you feeding? Emeralds and snails should help but they might not enough if you have a larger outbreak.
You can try the vibrant just note that you have to do it weekly for 7-9 weeks. Hopefully you also don't have any macroalgae or pull it and save it somewhere.
Since you don't have any corals on some of the rocks or cords I'd pull them out of the tank and scrub them. (Don't do this to your main live rock though)
Worst case you put a fluconazole treatment in the tank watch and wait for a 10-14 days.
this cant be blown off so im guessing it is ghaExactly, sounds like GHA. Cyano is a brownish algae that usually collects in low flow areas. It can be blown off easily with a turkey baster.

Yea, if its GHA you have to pull it off.
it is on mine lolI personally have never seen it grow on the glass. It did grow on the walls of my sump, so I guess it is possible.
will be testing later tonight. will let you knowWhat are you parameters at?
