I’ve found this algae today and I’d like to know the genus, it is very similar to a halimeda in therms of structure/segments, this algae doesn’t have the calcified structure as halimeda, in the picture there is white parts that went asexual due to be found in a system with poor lighting they are of a soft and mouldable consistency and in some parts of the picture it can be observed that there is some degradation/decomposition of the white segments that can’t be observed in halimeda as the calcified structure stays once the algae perish.
