First off. Thanks for taking the time advising me
I really appreciate it!

I have a single 48" AI Blade Grow running 75% white 25% Royal Blue.
Wife dislikes more blue than that.
So Im looking at a supplemental led bar or two for the extra par. Im sorry Im not familiar with tone :/ i guess aqua white is more preferable. But i like the tone I get from the blade with current settings. I can always configure the blade for more blue later on I suppose.
The Tropic Sun (if you don't care to config your own) would probably be a night/day difference on what you have now even at 75% white.
The tropic with the large amount of "regular blue" and cyan it should be pretty close to"aqua blue" but not quite the green blue of aqua and have plenty of usable par as well. It is orders of magnatude more err "colorful".
As a comparison you could whiten (supplement bar) a glow to 12000K but it would look violet-ish.
due to the 405,415,430 leds. that low of blue stimulates your red receptors rendering the color violet
to your eyes.
That's what I meant by different 12000K's.
K really doesn't define a "look".
I'd love to comment on the "pop" but really not in my pay grade.
Need someone who used them for that.
430,470-ish and 500 add a lot of photons that excite fluorescence but then you have 2 whites.
Of course each white has its own blue component.
The other thing is unlike the blade you have no "channel control"
If you use the blades as a programmed "glow stick" I'm not sure the Reef Crest will be an equivalent.
Like I said though, out of my pay grade.
Does look to be a nice natural colored light though.
Maybe you now see why your goal is important.
Any blue stick adds par. Any white stick adds par (by definition)
As an "add on" to your other lighting that too has an impact though.
Simple questions are rarely simple.
Oh yea if you can best to get bars that fit especially with your height restriction. Necessary? No, just preferred.
