Did you dip the coral at all before adding it to your system? Also what are your paraneters and lighting and flow you have it in?okay so I recently bought an alveopora frag... and I really need help. I’ve kept this frag in a couple different lighting and flows but i just CANT seem to make it happy. It’s been closed up for so long now that algae’s growing on it. I don’t think it’s dead yet but it seems to be getting there. I need some advice.. has anyone cared for alveopora before and actually know how to care for them? Also, what can i do about the algae?

I dipped it in bayer about a month and half or two months ago. It went in my QT for a month or so where it was doing better than it's doing in the display right now. I've tried it in a variety of flow and lighting intensities in my tank with very minimal success. Right now, I just have it sitting in the sand bed as I don't know where to put it and thought I was giving it too much light. I need to know what kind of lighting and flow I should put it in... I've seen different results online.
