Alveopora care... HELP!

okay so I recently bought an alveopora frag... and I really need help. I’ve kept this frag in a couple different lighting and flows but i just CANT seem to make it happy. It’s been closed up for so long now that algae’s growing on it. I don’t think it’s dead yet but it seems to be getting there. I need some advice.. has anyone cared for alveopora before and actually know how to care for them? Also, what can i do about the algae?

Did you dip the coral at all before adding it to your system? Also what are your paraneters and lighting and flow you have it in?

I dipped it in bayer about a month and half or two months ago. It went in my QT for a month or so where it was doing better than it's doing in the display right now. I've tried it in a variety of flow and lighting intensities in my tank with very minimal success. Right now, I just have it sitting in the sand bed as I don't know where to put it and thought I was giving it too much light. I need to know what kind of lighting and flow I should put it in... I've seen different results online.

What are your PO4 levels??
Mine do the same when phosphates are high.

Low flow. Had one before and closed up when Po4 is high.

I'm not entirely sure where phosphates are at right now, I haven't tested in a while. I'll check as soon as I get home and if they're not high let you know
