One thing that is also a sign for nudis is the egg sacks, they will lay eggs on the base of zoas, the sacks look spiral shaped and won't wipe off. I've had success scraping them off in the past. If you find eggs there will be a nudi somewhere, and most likely if you find a nudi there will be eggs as well.

Are all of them affected or just some? Usually they will either “shrink” or “melt”, depending on the cause. Do you have any photos?

I’d start with looking at them after lights out and get your Kh up. BRS has calculators that help you figure out how much your tank needs.

Yeah I found the calculator a couple days ago and put in enough to change it to 9 in about 5 or 6 days. Is coral red same thing as a revive?

No worries, auto correct gets me all the time. I use both.I buy most of my zoas/palys from Brandon @ Zoanthids.com. He recommended using Revive, so I always try it first. If you only have Coral Rx, try that

Not so much on the one that totally closed I dipped it but didnt see anything fall off of it. All the others ones seem to be doing better today. My kh is too low and mg and ca way too high. Those must have just been more sensitive than the others. I'm slowly adding in kh to help but no idea how to drop mg and ca like that.

Off the charts 700 ca 1900mg I had to refill the syringe with the salifert test kit and I tested 2x on each to make sure I'm not crazy. Kh was at 6.9 decently low but not outrageous

The video you linked earlier in the thread is not a nudi. I'm not saying its impossible that you have them, but your parameters are a mess. Fix your chemistry first then worry about theoretical pests. Hope you get things sorted.

I use instant ocean reef which says higher calc and mag but it shouldn't be that high. I use flake food only once a day and a small amount for 2 juvenile clowns. I do supplement reef roids once a week half of what's suggested because I dont have a large area of coral. Side from those things and this trap i made to catch a fire worm and it had a frozen brick of mysis in it as bait.

Oh I also bought some hermit crab shells but I soaked them in rodi water first. I use disposable aquarium gloves when I put my hands in most of the time. The only other thing I can think of is not properly rinsing iodine dip off.
