Amazon fish for 10g?

Oh I know @lbacha -- That's why I said "sane" ;)

Actually, one of my favorite tank types are palladiums.

Here's some Palladium inspiration!

My problem is I'm not sure my house will feel complete unless I have a little bit of everything.

I mean come on, look at this succulent reef palladium!!! Did you even know you needed one of these yet??

amazon you say... DWARF PUFFER I LOVE MINE he's amazing and kinda shy most people say they are aggressive and will kill stuff bigger than they are. IME you have you add them LAST and make sure you treat them for IP's
Dwarf puffers are from india

the internet lied to me... now I have to remove them from my AMAZON style 20 gallon dang.
If you like them, keep them. The Amazon and it's tributaries are immense. Unless you can narrow down specific locales it is highly unlikely to be a true biotope anyway.

the SAP? I had those at one point but they were too aggressive when in pairs and when alone they wouldn't eat.

Yeah i was not a fan either lol.
My tank is very simple no frills stocking sterba corrys, bolivians, and guppies lol. Last few years been trying to outbreed controlled breeding to revert my guppy stock back to wild type.
Add a strain, breed with another, breed the resulting fry with fry from 2 other strains. Repeat.
4th generation goes in dt for uncontrolled breeding. Removing those with Stock gene selection is soley based on fry breeding true to initial strain. what ive learned is enough breeding all guppies display variable color in a no predator environment at least rather quickly, tail shape has been the hardest to revert to wild type.

Only 10% of fry display a tail shape dissimilar to parents even after many generations.
I was bored one day had a few 10 gallons lying around. Hey why not do this with them lol.

There is a type that is very similar called the amazon puffer, they dont get much bigger than the indian puffers either. Btw isn’t this a saltwater forum???

I got pretty good answers even though it’s a salt forum. It’s not uncommon for people to go fresh to salt, so I don’t see why it’s an issue.

I ended up getting a pair of appistogramma borelli
