Got a couple of these with 4 plug ins each. They are not build to be mounted on a board. Anyone have pictures of how they did it? Thanks!

Travis, doesn't yours have tabs on it like the one below? When I was using this one, I just cut a hole in the piece of plywood it was mounted on and secured it with screws. Maybe you have a different design.

I have the 8 switch one and used a router to cut out a hole and simply screw it in ice and flush. Same concept as above

Yes I have the same one. They are designed to fit a slip rack. My cord and plug in are on the top which makes you have to cut a larger hole to make it fit through. Then it’s not clean when you get it through.

I wasn't nearly as fancy, I just used 3" coated deck screws into the stand. It's plenty secure though. I haven't done my wire management yet, still in the build process.

I removed the cover a drilled 2 holes through the top . Than screwed it to the underside of my stand and put the cover back on. I also screwed a second one below the first one in the same way.

I would have never thought to take the cover off, I may have to redo mine now.

I cut a couple of pieces of flat aluminum bar and bent them about 45 degrees and mounted to the 2x4 support braces at the top of the inside the stand. Used stainless steel screws and nuts to mount.

Picture? I unscrewed the top too but all wires connected. Didn’t want to unplug something I didn’t know how to plug back in lol

I don’t think pictures will show much without taking it apart. I will see about taking some tonight. I did not have to unplug anything on mine.

Just an update for others. I wanted these in a small controller cabinet, so I used 1/2” plywood and cut from very bottom so I could slip it in. The width of the plywood is perfect size so the wiring on the power strip and plugs are all internal and a accessible.

Where did you get your wire duct?
Found it online. I honestly don't remember where. I have had it laying around the house for a while now. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Found some on Amazon but not that cheap. Hard to get wire in there?
It's not hard to get wire inside, but it is a royal pain to get the cap off of the duct and put it back on. I think it was probably meant to slide off and on, but not always possible in tight confines. I try to use it sparingly.

Thanks for tip/advice. Will practice taking off and putting on before mounting.

Much easier when mounted actually. I have a 6’ one and cut the cover in to 3 pieces to make it easier if I need to remove a segment. It slides on or off pretty easy, but that is not so easy once installed or if you just want to remove a portion of it. It still is not that hard to remove. Just slide your thumb along one side under the cover pushing the tabs up while pulling the cover away gently. It works kind of like a zipper.
