Your tank is lookin good man! Dang !I used to dose 5ml acropower every other day, but without running gfo my po4 would skyrocket. I've since dropped the phosphate and have recently started dosing the acropower again. X per week. So far so good. Also, this is on a 29biocube, with lots of acros and zoas.![]()
Lol, tryin to just let it do it's thing without putting my hands into it. I'd like to frag a bunch of palys and zoas, but at the same time it's nice to see them full.Your tank is lookin good man! Dang !
Looks good. Have you tried Brightwell amino?I used to dose 5ml acropower every other day, but without running gfo my po4 would skyrocket. Same coral different placements. A week after I got it.Not sure exactly what I'm looking at. Same acro, 2 different angles of light?
I have not, but hear great things about Brightwell.Same coral different placements. A week after I got it.
It looks like it’s not getting enough light. If zoas are happy where your acros are that’s a good sign that that’s a lower light spot. Assuming you don’t have a par meter. Put it all the way up top.Same coral different placements. A week after I got it.
So your saying acro power doesn't do much then? For the price you pay for it I mean. I dont use it currently its just I got a bottle cheap, well I got a nearly full bottle for free from a friend shutting his tank down. Is it worth even using it then? What is acro power ment to do? I was wandering if colours would improve on some corals. I think some have paled and this was due to the zero phosphates I had, I'd like them back how they were. So I'm hoping that dosing acro power might helpI’ve used bright wells coral amino, acropower, phol’s, and etc....There’s better products out there seachem’s/Aquavitro’s reef biofuel one of the best there’s not a ton unnecessary stuff like the A&B by Redsea. I’ve had lackluster results with acropower it’s really lipids and fatty acids pretty basic which you’re paying a premium for lol.
No, I am trying to find out what works best with great results. I’ve been using Brightwell and like it as you can see but wondering if it’s better to switch to acro power or stick to this one.So your saying acro power doesn't do much then? For the price you pay for it I mean. I got a bottle cheap, well I got a nearly full bottle it free from a friend shutting his tank down. Is it worth even using it then? I have a 24 gallon with mainly all lps and some sps regrowing from the die off I had.![]()
So there is a difference in the companies? How can we find this kind of information out?I have used acropower for several years. It's very simple and easy to dose. I have become a firm believer in amino acids. The big difference that I see is several products contain other nutritional elements and acropower is just the amino acids.
Can i ask what dosing and how often, also what did it do? Did it improve corals etc?I have used acropower for several years. It's very simple and easy to dose. I have become a firm believer in amino acids. The big difference that I see is several products contain other nutritional elements and acropower is just the amino acids.
