I got him to start feeding on live adult artemia. He is now eating NYOS Artemis & Chromis. Doesn’t seem to care for frozen foods yet.

Its eating newly hatched artemia nauplii. Also got some copepods I dosed into the tank. Seems to eat both. When I dose the baby artemia into the tank it goes nuts darting around in the cloud so I assume it’s eating.

I have been very curious about purchasing one but I'm hearing they are not able to live in warmer temps. Those of you that have a Lenardi, what is your temps in your display tank?

I have heard the same. I’ve lowered my holding system thermostat temp. to 74°F. I need to figure out what I’m going to do long term.

How has your Reef responded to the cooler temps? I run a mixed Reef with plenty of Acros..

I haven’t done extensive research but northern sector of Great Barrier Reef runs 75°f to 86°f according to a quick google search. So I would assume if you don’t go below 75°f it shouldn’t be a problem for coral.

They aren't from the Great Barrier Reef. They are from Western Australian water's, which are mostly in the 60's.

Fishbase lists it's natural temps as 12-22 celsius, which is 53-71 f.

Had my juvi for 9 months & i run a warmer side tank 27C/80.5F
Probably not ideal for them but i haven't had any problem,growing fine & healthy

tsm is awesome. Def my go to. I’m waiting to get mine soon hopefully. Got the chiller and maintaining between 75-76. We shall see.

The only thing I dislike about mine, is it spitting sand everywhere. I don’t think I’ll get another.

These are beautiful fish and I have had 2 that were eating well from the start. They both perished after about a 2-5 month period.

I won’t own another one any time soon.

So mine was doing great the first week I had it, temperature of the tank was around 77. Temperatures went up to 80 on Friday, I did not notice till Friday night. I have not seen the Lennardi since Friday night so a little under 2 days.

I have reduced the temperature to 75, is there a chance he is just hiding from the higher temperature and will come back out soon? Is it common for a wrasse to hide if temps get too warm?
