Tell us about your system, age, parameters and stability.
Nems hate unstable waters.
I am seeing what looks like a very new set up.
Nem needs more mature systems.

The tank was setup on the 15th of May this year and I have tested my salinity and this is at 1.025 and my pH is around 8.0 my NH4 is 0.05 or lower my N02 is 0,1 my N03 is around 40 my Fe is 1,0 and my KH is about 7 to 8 drops

The system is a all in one tank with a built in filter and its heated to around 26 degrees c and there is a wave maker also

So roughly 4 months old……that should be ok.
Confused on ALK reading, what’s drops?
Should be DKH or PPM?

Fluctuating Alk can have negative effects in our systems.
It’s a key parameter, like temp and salinity.

Assuming the drops equals 8-12dkh or say 160-200ppm, your waters look fine.

Perhaps one of your clowns is being nasty to it?

N03 is around 40

40 is not good

Your nem being at the very top of the tank could also mean that it is looking for light. So your light might not be strong enough for its needs.

With your nitrates being that high and how new your tank is, i would closely watch your nem. If it detaches and deflates, remove the nem immediately.

Here is a picture to show what it's normally like

I have a AI blade light designed for corals on it

Your nem will climb for more light or flow. Anemones like a bit of nitrate and phosphate my tanks are higher than your readings . Your just going to see how it goes for now if it gets too a stage we’re it can not attach to rock or any surface and mouth is gaping for a long period of days then be concerned. Hopefully it will bounce back . Lights are important but I have just fitted cheap lights and my BTA love them no problem. Really you want lights you can ramp up or down

I got my tank on may 15th as well this year. I have a BTA and it is looking great. Maybe a water change but nems don’t like swings in water parameters

I also fed it the night before when it looked fine I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it
Nems normally shrink down after expelling a large meal - but only for a short time. Longer periods of deflation for magnifica are usually a sign of infection - which could have been brought on by a feeding.

I know nem keepers like using cipro to treat nem infection. Not sure if this is one of those cases.

My vote is no for now. It looks decently inflated in the most recent pic. Usually when they climb the side it’s due to not enough light. Sometimes flow… but usually light.

Whoever sold you that anemone did not tell you that its not a beginner anemone.
