anemone looks bad

My vote is no for now. It looks decently inflated in the most recent pic. Usually when they climb the side it’s due to not enough light. Sometimes flow… but usually light.
Today (2 days on) it's look great back to full size

It's is very high to the top
Do you think this is due to the light intensity
I can turn it up more if necessary

Try it and see if it goes back down or shrivels up . Is it getting plenty of flow. Looks like a bag of washing because it’s on the side of the glass and it’s a big nem . Imo it’s light or flow your just going to try things out but don’t touch the anemone

From day one of putting it in there it's always been up at the top and it has a wave makes point pretty much directly at it

I can’t believe no one has brought up that this is a heteractis magnifica, probably the most difficult anemone in the hobby. It needs very intense lighting and very strong flow. It also requires a flat surface to plant its foot. Mags are notorious for climbing the glass.

It shouldn’t deflate like that. It should be removed and put through a 7 day Cipro treatment as outlined in the anemone forum. Many experts have difficulty keeping mags successfully. Your tank is too new. It should immediately be removed and treatment started while you find it a more suitable home. It will die if you leave it in your tank.

Whoever sold it to you shouldn’t have.

That's a big nem! It needs a dark cave to regulate light exposure. Does it have a spot that's completely shaded with good flow?
That is a magnifica. It absolutely doesn’t need a cave. If anything, it needs a spotlight and a flat rock to plant its foot on. It will most likely die if left untreated and kept in a 4 month old tank. It needs to be rehomed and treated with cipro immediately.
