Anemone not eating not sticky!?

Well it there was a deep crevice in a area right in front of the tank that I thought was perfect so I just gently placed on top of the crevice and in minutes it had fully attached itself to the rock. It has been moving around the tank ever since. It is still trying to find the perfect spot.

And fordtech did you mean the removal from the rock at the fish store? If so then I am sure it was not torn the employee was very gentle with it.

And I have a question I noticed last night that on its foot there seemed to be a spot a tiny spot that had weird white fluffy stuff coming out. what is that? Is it normal?

Yes that is what I meant. I have removed many anemones and the ones attached to a rock almost never come off unless they were ready to come off most time from some kind off stress

Dude are you kidding me you just posted to me about how it can’t be damaged and how careful they were then 10 min later post how the foot has white fluffy stuff which is most likely damage. SMH

Post a good picture of possible and yes most likely damage to foot from removal from a rock by lfs

With proper water. Parameters and good flow and light yes there is a possibility of recovery

Ok I will try I am not that good at the computer ect and I didn't take a picture at the time he is now at the back of the rock I can't take a picture of him now.

Well without seeing it have no clue. I’m just Giving you possibilities of what the white stuff can be because you asked either way I’m pretty sure it’s due to damage on the foot

You said it needed proper light to recover right? Well on my tank I have an LED strip that came with the tank. is that an ok light for the anemone?

And i have the flow off in the tank because the anemone is still moving around and I was told that I should keep the flow down. Should I turn it back on to heal the anemone?
