Yes it appears to be. That is quite common when they are flushing themselves in a new environment. Is this excreting waste?
My vote is either a condy or sebae

Is it upside down? My guess is lights are insufficient or water quality isn't great.Been following this guy at a local fish store I went in tonight and he looked like this? Very weird but it was 7:30 pm lights were going off

It is looking very good. Good extension and the body seems full. They take a while to get happy. Here are a few of mine.Update on the Sebae anemone new pictures
Why may some tentacles be shriveled up and some be full and lush?It is looking very good. Good extension and the body seems full.
That's normal. Especially while it's settling in. Any idea what par you have it in? And what your No3 and Po4 levels are?Why may some tentacles be shriveled up and some be full and lush?
Yes I will update with that RUGHT now. All though I am concerned my filefish keeps trying to go near the Sebae anemone and tried picking at it once!!!That's normal. Especially while it's settling in. Any idea what par you have it in? And what your No3 and Po4 levels are?

He is fully fed and eats frozen food but he keeps getting very close and think he might be picking at itWhat kind of file fish?
worried for the filefishI wouldn't worry for the file fish.... id worry for the nem. Nems of all kinds are on the menu for them. Yes we keep them to eat aptasia. But all nems are fair game. You may have to decide... nem or fish in this case.He is fully fed and eats frozen food but he keeps getting very close and think he might be picking at itworried for the filefish
I understand thank you for the info. So I don’t need to worry about the filefish getting stung? Maybe once I add the clownfish they will protect the nem? What would happen to a nem that gets nipped at?I wouldn't worry for the file fish.... id worry for the nem. Nems of all kinds are on the menu for them. Yes we keep them to eat aptasia. I wouldn't be worried about the file fish. But the nem for sure will not like being constantly nipped while acclimating.I understand thank you for the info. I will continue to monitor what will happen. I honestly think I have an idea what happened. I usually feed a cube total throughout the day and last week I cut back a little bit because of a algae bloom. However in affect I believe the filefish now tries and nips at whatever he can to eat. For example my Duncan coral has been gorgeous and past 4 days have been closed. All other coral is fine but this one has been closed.I wouldn't be worried about the file fish. But the nem for sure will not like being constantly nipped while acclimating.
