I think in addition to putting feeding back to "normal " levels doing a full tank test is a good idea. Figure out where the following parameters are and post. I recently went through a drop in nitrates and an alk swing in one of my systems. It's amazing the subtle changes in our coral or anemones that can tell us what's going on with them.I will continue to monitor what will happen. I honestly think I have an idea what happened. I usually feed a cube total throughout the day and last week I cut back a little bit because of a algae bloom. However in affect I believe the filefish now tries and nips at whatever he can to eat. For example my Duncan coral has been gorgeous and past 4 days have been closed. All other coral is fine but this one has been closed.
