Filled the 20g ato container. Woke up to beeping at 4am. It dumped about 12g of water into the tank. Over filled and have water under the floor now.

Annnnnd... Now the floor is coming up.

Great way to start my weekend

I’m sorry you are dealing with this.

Some Home Depot’s rent those industrial dehumidifiers and fans. I rented one for a week when my tank leaked on my wood floors.

Or you could call Servpro (great if insurance will cover it, but they are pretty expensive)

Well, it's not as bad as I thought. I do have to replace some boards, but nothing that's going to take more than a couple hours.

I'm at the hardware store waiting for them to open so I can get a suction cup to separate the laminate flooring pieces

They way some floors lock together not sure this is going to be easy, and/or end up looking like you want.

Well, I have to try to replace just a section because the flooring is not made anymore. I watched a couple videos and it seems that using a suction cup and mallet is the way to go to get some boards out

I am also not convinced that you have to do this. Did someone evaluate the situation and tell you that you had to replace a few boards? Why not just use an industrial fan and let it dry out?

Get a pry bar while your there just in case it comes in handy. So sorry for your struggle reefer. Just a setback, keep at it.

You'll unfortunately have to start from the edge of the room as you wont be able to break them loose from the middle. I hope thats already your plan.
Did you install the siphon break correctly?
I had issues with flooding sump when i set mine up but it was user error.

The ato overflowed the display. It's an all in one.

And here's the aftermath. The water made out to the edge of the wall and down to the first floor, coming out of a door frame, just dipping not s waterfall.

The damage is localized along the wall and in a closet.

I was able to remove the middle boards by using a suction cup and mallet.

Letting it dry tonight and installing new flooring tomorrow. We had 10 boxes left over from the original install.

Awesome good to hear it wasnt too bad and you had extra boxes.. Youll be an installation pro before you know it after this but youll need to make cuts on the new end boards for your staggers.

And whatever it was topping off, did you install a siphon break on the ato tubing?
If not they have a tendancy to keep filling due to siphon.
I havent had my pump stick on the duetto yet. Just siphon issues. Especially when water level in the reservior is higher than what its topping off without a siphon break properly installed.

How does water travel upwards if the pump is off?
The reservoir is lower than where the water enters.
Mine shuts down the pump in the reservoir, if either optical or manual sensor is tripped.
Not arguing, just want to know how an ATO can siphon like about, in case I have to change something.

But I dont know how the OP has his reservoir configured.... it doesnt sound like a sensor failure though.
Without a siphon break and if the reservoir level is higher than what its topping off, it will equalize.

My setup was siphoning everytime id fill my reservoir all the way up, the pump kicks on, kicks off but water keeps flowing until its equalized.
Kalk clogged in my siphon break.

Now if the AIO is on a stand and the reservoir is on the floor and it overflowed the AIO, maybe this could be a sensor failure....

It was a double sensor failure. The tank is an all in one with the ato in the stand below the tank, with a siphon break installed.

I have 2 other duetto ato on other tasks and both function flawlessly which is why I picked up a third.

I'm going to have the tank capable of handling 5g of extra water and use a 5g bucket as my ato container. This way when if it fails again the water will stay in the tank
