Not sure why this always happens. Had 7 painters over with everything ripped up furniture moved, etc. Aquarium not touched. 20 minutes after they started painting of of the guys said - hey - your aquarium just stopped working. All of the lights were off, pumps, etc. The apex and EBB were still 'lit' - and colored orange. The probes were still reading properly. Yet - there was no power from the EBB. Despite re-powering, resetting all 'buttons' on the apex, EBB. On Apex fusion, on the EBB is an error (Red exclamation point). Of course - the painters who were working said - should we just plug everything into a surge suppressor. I said - yes sounds good. Pump back on, skimmer back on, lites all good.
At 4AAM it hit me (though I received no alerts except several that said 'statement set off' (paraphrased). I wondered - what happened to the DOS. I opened fusion - pH spike to 8.87 - now down to 8.3. Both Ca and All containers empty. Water is clear. I unplugged the doser. and will check parameters later. All the fish look fine. This officially may end my relationship with Apex. it seems to me that there needs to be some kind of alert on Fusion (by Email/Text) - when the EBB fails this way. Rumor has it that this is not an unheard of experience. Totally bummed out at this point
