Very true.. where are you seeing them for 550$$??? I’m seeing 590Skip any light that you would have to upgrade. Waste of time and money
Awesome!! What size tanks/ what size lights??I own 4. I love them

They appear to be sold out. There was one for sale on R2R a couple months ago for $350Very true.. where are you seeing them for 550$$??? I’m seeing 590
I have 4 of the 32 over a 350galAwesome!! What size tanks/ what size lights??
Ah. Gotcha. Honestly, like I said before, it’s not about the money- I would easily drop 600$ for the lights, same for my other pets. The only problem is I would have to work for a whole month for the lights alone, not including fish/ live rock/ sand. Which sucks, because I love the reef breeders. The only reason I would pick AI primes is because they’re singles, so I can gradually add more. They appear to be sold out. There was one for sale on R2R a couple months ago for $350
Wow! Nice! Pics of tank maybe??? I love monster tanksI have 4 of the 32 over a 350gal

Maybe Christmas money will pull thru and help me outI get it. But buying and upgrading wastes more money. I did it. For powerhead, return pumps, lights. I wasted so much money upgrading
Wow. SPS is looking amazing![]()
Fishfinder’s Coral Collection
I have a build thread but I’m going to use this to document my coral pictures and growth. Enjoy! Red Planetwww.reef2reef.com
Honestly, I don’t wanna waste the money on having to just keep adding on 2 or four AI’s, but I don’t have an optionI wish I had all my upgrade money back
unless I get some large sum of cash from family for christmas lol. I don’t want to have a wait a month for the lights by itself
if one goes on sale, or someone’s selling, I am 100% buying one though. That was what I was set on today.. until I realized I don’t think I want a black box. LolAnother err "cheap" OPTION..

Thank you so much. Just to be safe, in a little while I’m gonna add on 2 maybe four more for sps.I'll just add a +1 on using a pair of AI Primes. Absolutely good enough for LPS and softies. Down the road, rather than adding more of them you could do a semi-DIY T5 supplement; maybe two 3' bulbs in a retrofit kit. But really the Primes should be enough.
When I have enough money, I’m gonna grab four. Thank u so much!![]()
Are 3 AI Prime HDs enough for 48" 80 gal tank?
About to pull the trigger on purchasing 3 AI Prime HDs for my 80 gallong 48 inch tank. My LFS recommended 3, but with an eye to getting multiple opinions I thought I would check in with the crowd here. I have read countless articles and forum posts, but finally giving up and posting a question...www.reef2reef.com
so here's an idea get the 2 ai/g4 whatever.......and than later on add a third? it's really not going to be a break the bank kinda thing holding off for the third down the road. I run 2 ai 16's on a 17gal and don't have the complete coverage I would get with T5 btw your scape plays a big part in how much light you may need.Ok, once again, I’m sorry about posting so often! I just want some other input on good, but more inexpensive lights for my 4 foot 90 gallon. I would prefer to not go with a black box, since they usually don’t have phone control and... I just idk, I have a few reasons I don’t want a black box. Does anyone know of any 400$ range lights, that are guaranteed to grow lps and soft coral? Many people say marine current shouldn’t be considered a reef light, or that reef brite is bad, etc and so on. I would prefer one single led for around 400$ or 450$. I wanted the reef breeders, but I’m 16 and they’re 700$. AI primes, I would need four, and are 200$ each- kessil is 800$. They’re crazy expensive, so does anyone have any actual experience with 400$ led lights, that work good with a mixed soft coral and lps tank? With anemones? Thank you, and I’m sorry for posting SO MUCH. Ha
