Anthias Has brown stuff on his Skin!!

No there aren't any anemones and I just added the first LPS two days ago so prob no
Well, I don't think I can be of any help. :( This is unlike any bacterial or fungal infection I have ever seen or heard of and I have no idea what it could be. Hopefully someone else may have experience with something similar!

Good luck!

Here are some more pictures it looks like the patches are getting darker and yes he's a one eyed fish that i got him from my lrf. I decided he be a great addition lol

That is so cool! I hope he does well for you!

If I was in your shoes I would add wide spectrum antibiotics to the water in QT (Furan-2 + Kanaplex) or NFG.

I would also feed Metroplex+focus in case it's something internal causing the issue.

Alright ima try this method also is it okay to treat with sand in the tank? cause im using my coral qt tank thats now currently empty except the sand bed , if i cant i'll just wash it out. but can i?

Sand is fine. I would discard it before you use the QT for coral again as ABX are not reef safe.

Alright Thx I appreciate everyones help ill update further when i start treating him. ;)

SO how long does it take to treat this guy because I finally caught him and its day 3 in the qt with kanaplex and furan -2 and he ain't looking (Dark spots has spread at least covering roughly 45% of his body but behavior and breathing is normal) so it took a while for me to catch hi so there was a couple days of delay so that could have an impact

I've seen it take at least 10 days before noticing improvement. Fish are very slow to respond to antibiotics at times.

Alright its been 12 days I don't see any improvement but its seem to have halted this spreading fungi/bacteria. :(

Guy SOS he sitting on the ground breathing rapid I already did a 100% water change, I don't know what to do and the brown stuff is still on him >_<
