Ok thanks I will look it up I had a little stronger power head in the tank it just seemed too strong tho no matter where it was pointed it would move my sand around pretty good

Yeah. If you use a pump with a wave controller, you can produce more intermittent burst of flow. That will reduce blowing stuff around.
